On 26 April 2022, Prof. Sukla Basu (Sen), Former Professor of the Department of English, Bhasha Bhavana, Visva Bharati delivered a talk on how pedagogy relating to Shakespeare was intertwined with student performances. Sukla-di discussed how performing Shakespeare opened new avenues for students who found him difficult to understand in the classroom.

Thereafter, she also talked about how her troupe "Santiniketan Poesis" performed Nidagh Nishither Khoyabnama, based on William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
