The panel discussion on Shakespeare in Bengal took place at the Victoria Memorial Hall in Kolkata on 13 November 2019. Prof. Sukanta Chaudhuri (Professor Emeritus, Dept. of English, Jadavpur University), Mr. Eric Johnson (Director, Digital Access, Folger Shakespeare Library), and Prof. Paromita Chakravarti (Project Coordinator, Professor, Dept. of English, Jadavpur University) participated in this discussion which was moderated by Dr. Doyeeta Majumder (Asst. Professor, Dept. of English, Jadavpur University).

This was a part of the public exhibition on Shakespeare in Bengal, which took place from the 8th to the 15th of November 2019, in collaboration with Victoria Memorial Hall.
